Ello! o/ My name’s Nick.
Professionally, I’m an effective team player who is able to comprehend and contribute to both creative and technical elements. I leverage my educational background in 3D technical art and game design to help my teams deliver impressive and efficient user experiences across an array of platforms.
I love creating virtual worlds and realities, writing exorbitant amounts of lore and backstory to justify every fictional item, regardless of importance or triviality. I’ve been writing stories since elementary school, and original started making art with the goal of creating picture books for my classes. Since then, I’ve fluctuated back and forth between those two aspects, gradually improving both.
In 2014 I enrolled at UCF to study game design and worked on a variety of projects with many wonderful, talented people. I was fortunate enough to serve as a Creative Director on three student projects, where I helped coordinate teams to deliver quick and fun single-semester projects that focused on showcasing the best of what each member of the team had to offer. After I graduated in 2018, I took some time to focus on bettering myself and expanding/rounding out my skills, but have continuously pursued development projects on the side.
I currently work in software development as a Business Analyst and UI/UX Designer, combining my skills as an artist, designer, and writer to produce prototypes and provide technical specifications to our team of developers while I continue to hone my skills as a technical artist.
